She is survived by: her husband Sydney Townsend, Sr.; her children, Trudy Jones (Edward), Casandra Haskins (Rick), Cynthia Townsend of Raleigh, NC, Adrienne Kaambo (Edwin) and Bernard Townsend (Angela); her siblings, Eddie Frank Cherry of Boston, MA and Angie Lee Golden (Early); and her daughter-in-law Francine Townsend of Spring Valley, NY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
