She was predeceased by: her husband Seltford Cummings; her parents, Connie Brooks and Katie Brooks; and her brother Earnest Brooks. She is survived by: her siblings, Annie Chavis of Maxton, NC, Cathy Locklear, Sylvia Brooks of Pembroke, NC and Aremanuel Brooks (Lynn) of Maxton, NC. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews; twenty nine great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
