It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Dean (Oxendine) Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Oxendine and Emma Oxendine; her siblings, Bradford Oxendine, Joe Oxendine, Billy Ray Oxendine, James Delanna Oxendine, Catherine Locklear, Ada Jacobs, Eva Werner, Gladys Canterell and Mageline Oxendine; and her grandson Caleb Brett Cummings.
She is survived by: her husband Tracy Locklear; her children, Cheryl Cummings and Perry Locklear (Shondale); her grandchildren, Joshua Greg Cummings and Niya Jade Locklear; and her siblings, Emma Brayboy, Annette Dial, Curtis Oxendine and Telford Oxendine. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
