She was predeceased by: her parents, James A Jacobs and Annie L Jacobs; her daughter Toni T. Brooks; and her grandchildren, Natasha N. Brooks, Cayden Locklear, Jayla and Jaythan Locklear.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald A. Brooks; and her children, Jerry A Brooks (Lexie Brooks) of Maxton, Cleveland Brooks of Maxton, Bertha Brooks (Herbert) of Maxton and Tabetha Brooks (James) of Maxton. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
