It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Destry Scott of Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melina Scott; his children, Deanna Scott (Darius) of Raeford and Jeremy Lamar Scott of Maxton; his parents, Thurman Scott and Ava Lynn Scott of Maxton; his sister Sherry McMillan (George) of Maxton; his granddaughter Da'Livia McLean of Raeford; and his sibling's children, Courtney Scott of Maxton, Ryan Walden of Myrtle Beach and Dustin Jacobs of Pembroke. He was also cherished by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
