She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Strickland and Julie Mae Dial; her husband Lyn Locklear; her sons, Anthony Locklear, Lloyd Locklear and Lyn Locklear; and her grandchildren, Lyn Ardell Bullard and Dakota Lyn Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Bullard, Mitchell Locklear (Jeanette) of Maxton, Leon Locklear of Maxton and Allen Locklear of Maxton; her sisters, Dora D. Scott of Maxton and Lula Dial of Maxton; her brother-in-law Daniel Locklear; and her close friends, Anita Keziah and Ola McBryde. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
