It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fannie Sue Locklear (Maxton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chavis and Arpie B. Chavis; her husband Jacob Locklear; her children, Teresa Faye Locklear and Jacky Locklear; and her siblings, Rev. Johnnie Chavis, Ernest Chavis, Levi Chavis, Annie J. Pierce, Christine Locklear and Lizzie Lowery.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Pat Locklear (Cheryl) of Laurinburg, Cassie Locklear (Robert) and Carol Jean Locklear of Maxton; her sister Evenlyn Burnette of Maxton; her grandchildren, Jammie, Olivia, Lauren, Jonathan, Matthew, Corey, Katlyn, Chelsea and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Peyton, Bryson, Cassidy, Connor, Maddison, Jacob, Hailey, Ariah, Vayla, Van, Easton and Dallas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
