He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Locklear and Mereather Locklear. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Locklear; his sons, Jeffrey Lynn Locklear (Ava), Jason Devault Locklear (Jessica) and James Vernon Locklear (Christina); his siblings, Robert Locklear of Maxton, Haven Locklear of Maxton, Vernell Locklear of Maxton and Dorene Bullard of Maxton; and his grandchildren, Jerrick Locklear, Lyillin Jade Locklear, Lindsey Carol Locklear, Kieran Hunt-Locklear, Jay Lee Locklear and Kashlyn Chavis.
