He is survived by: his wife Mona Barnes of Maxton; his children, Tony Locklear of Pembroke, Samuel Lynn Locklear of Wagram, Heather Hunt of Pembroke and Stephanie Barton of Maxton; and his siblings, Harry Locklear, Carson Locklear, Amos Locklear, Bubba Locklear, Jerry Locklear and Clara Barton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
