He is survived by: his wife Doretta Clark; his children, Prentice Locklear (Brenda) of Lumberton, NC, Charles Locklear (Lisa) of Maxton, NC, Stevie Locklear of Maxton, NC, James Locklear (Jean) of Maxton, NC, Timmy Locklear (Rafaela) of Cowpens, SC, Teresa Locklear Steel (Jim) of Concord, NC and Joyce Locklear Nowland of Maxton, NC; and his sister Evelyn Locklear Oxendine. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.
