He was predeceased by: his parents, English Barton and Allie Bertha Barton; his wives, Donsie Lee Barton and Lucille Barton; and his son Ronnie Louis Barton.
He is survived by: his children, June E. Sanchez of Pembroke, Nena Barton of Maxton and Nick Barton of Maxton. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one brother.
