He was predeceased by: his father James Edward Denson; his wife Carlara Boggs Denson; and his sister Debra Patterson. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Edmond Denson of Laurinburg, Karri Ellen Denson of Laurinburg and Danielle Marie Denson of Lumberton; his stepson Tyler Boggs of Vass; his mother Margaret Denson of Maxton; his siblings, Charles Edmond Denson of Spartanburg, SC, Jimmy Stephens of Fountain Inn, SC, Lucille Denson of Laurinburg and Ollie Barger of Fountain Inn, SC; his mother-in-law Vera Cothran of Cameron; his grandchildren, Ava Lynn Easterling, Quinton D. Oxendine, Harley Kerns and Hunter Heath Kerns; and his cousins, Jackie Stone of Maxton and Kimberly Perkins of Sanford.
