He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hunt and Sallie Hunt; and his son Phillip Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Hattie Locklear Hunt of Maxton, NC; his children, Karen Polston (Kenneth) of Hamlet, NC, James Hunt (Aleshia) of Maxton, NC and Eric Hunt (Keicia) of Laurel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Phillip, Dakota, Kellum, Conner, Ashlynn, Noah, Ryder, Colten, Dahltyn and Timothy; his great grandchildren, Waylyn and Eli; and his siblings, Mary Herdon, Marilyn Locklear, Mary Barfield, Brenda Goins, Brenda Lowery, Owens Hunt and Kenny Locklear.
Due to COVID-19, and the CDC guidelines, social distancing will be required, and the family require masks to be worn.
