He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Jones and Delois McNeill; and his brothers, Arvin Jones and Marvin Jones. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hunt Jones; his children, Travis Jones of Maxton and Amy Lowery (James Ashley) of Laurel Hill; his siblings, Jimmy Dean Jones and Linda Hoyos (Joe) of Maxton; his grandchildren, Haniah Lowery, Asher Lowery and Dakoma Lowery; and his close friend Michael Lee Locklear. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
