He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Strickland Bates; and his grandparents, Stanton Strickland and Annie Ruth L. Strickland. He is survived by: his father Bruce John Bates of Oregon; and his sister Angela Bates. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and many extended family and friends.
COVID-19 mandates require facial masks or coverings and attendance will be limited for all services.
