With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Lightsey Cardwell of Mayodan, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2020 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clara Lightsey Cardwell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Lee and Sadie Sarabelle Manring Lightsey; and her husband Reginald Thomas Cardwell. She is survived by: her son Doug Cardwell (Cathy); her granddaughter Michelle Casto (Bob); her great grandchild Anna Casto of Mayodan; her sisters-in-law, Esteen Cardwell of Mayodan and Charlotte Lightsey of Summerfield; and her close friends, Mitzi Atwood Moore, Vickie Atwood Ziglar and Lovene Motter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
