Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gilbert Martin Gann (Mayodan, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 99, on September 10, 2019. He was predeceased by : his parents, Nathaniel Grady Gann and Rosa Martin Gann; and his siblings, James, Tyler Gann, Lena Martin, Elsie Hampton and Betty Springer.

He is survived by : his wife Doris Brown Gann; his children, Terry Gann (Saundra) of Madison and Cheryl Gatewood (Mark) of Mayodan; his grandchildren, Deanna Gann Cox (Mike) of Denton, NC, Matt Gatewood (Cyndy) of Charlotte and Cole Gatewood (Brittany) of Goose Creek, SC; his great grandchildren, Delaney, Avery Cox, Owen, Ainsley, Hadley, Elizabeth and Katherine Gatewood; his sister Mildred Gann Hill (Charles) of Claudville, VA; and his sister-in-law Margaret Conway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
