It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lou Watson Hicks (Mayodan, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Preston Hicks; and her stepson Lewis Cabel. She is survived by: her children, Janice Hicks, Joan Priddy of Madison, Kathy Little of Mayodan, Judy Shelton, Gerald Ramsey of Madison, Laura Ramsey, Earl Preston Hicks, Rosa Hicks of Pine Hall and Briggs Hicks of Mayodan; and her sister Ruth Craddock of Mayodan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
