It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Brooks (Mayodan, North Carolina), who passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Brooks to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lewis Brooks; her brothers, Lawson, Wayne and Winston Bridges; and her sister-in-law Julia Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Neal Poff of Portsmouth, VA and Clarence Ronald Neal, Jr.; her adoptive daughter Tammy Hammond; her grandchild Anya Rountree; her great grandchildren, Mason Neal, Audrey Whitehead, Tristen Taylor, Taylen Taylor and Cameron Rountree; her brother Raymond Ray Bridges; and her nephew William Bridges.
