He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnie Francis Dockery and Mae James Dockery; his former wife Ruth Angley Dockery; his wife Margaret Dellinger Dockery; his stepson Pete Dellinger; and his brother Boyd Dockery.
He is survived by: his sons, David Dockery (Kimberly) and Steve; his stepsons, Tony, Larry and Kevin Dellinger; and his siblings, Lloyd Dockery, Jeanette Dockery and Frances Blanton.
