She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jenkins and Bertha Whisenant Jenkins; and her sister Frances Blake. She is survived by: her husband Robert Grier Cobb; her children, Karen Snyder (Russ) of Laurel, David Cobb (Whitney) of Brookshire, Jim Cobb (Kim) of Jamestown and Robert Cobb (Haley) of Rutherfordton; her grandchildren, Elie Burns (Ben), Bridgett Snyder, Taylor Cobb, Preston Cobb, Courtland Cobb, Elliott Cobb, Alec Cobb, Justin Cobb, Wyatt Cobb, Callie Cobb and Carter Cobb; her sisters, Rita Kirkland (Ray) of Dallas and Dorothy Blake of Dallas; and her sisters-in-law, Emma Shuler (John) of Gastonia and Jimmie Kate Johnson of Lowell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
