She was predeceased by : her parents, Eithel Aaron Nance and Patty Layne Nance; her former life partner Haywood Simpson; her husband Kallam; her son Donnie Simpson; her grandchildren, Michael Simpson Jr., Sharon and Ellen Simpson; and her siblings, Rev. Jack Nance, Aaron Nance Jr., Mary McGee, Stella Moody and Alma Clark.
She is survived by : her sons, Lee Simpson (Carolyn), Roger Simpson (Kay), Mike Simpson (Peggy) and Pat Simpson (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Alice Simpson; her stepdaughter Wanda Stewart; her siblings, Maynard Nance, Paul Nance and Sue Nance; and her grandchildren, Cara, Barbara, Kim, Jill, Alicia, Dalton, Lane, Adam, Drew and Dustin. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and a loving extended family.
