It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Cartner Jr. of McLeansville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Virginia Cartner Walton and Annie Mae Cartner. He is survived by : his children, Pastor David Cartner (Gail) and Jennifer Shelton (R. A.); and his grandchildren, Dana Tickle (Tim), Holly Church (Daniel), Ashlyn Cartner and Bill Taylor. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
