He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lawson Whitten and Daisy Mae Feltman Whitten. He is survived by : his wife Mae Baker Whitten; and his sons, Warner Ray "Butch" Whitten, Jr. (Kathy) of Gibsonville and William Clifton Whitten of Whitsett.
