With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Rogers (Mebane, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Albright and Daviezene Williams Albright. She is survived by: her husband Willard Roger, Sr.; her children, Reverend Willard Roger, Jr., Patricia R. Landrum, Gloria Rogers, Deborah R. Savage (Theodore), Billie Jo Rogers and Bessie R. Griffith (Ron); and her siblings, Arthur Lee Albright, Joseph Albright "Bo", Lula Albright, George Graham and Barbara Rudd. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mebane First Baptist Church (110 S Lane St, Mebane, NC 27302). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Mebane Community Cemetery.
