She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Talton and Edna Mitchell Whitley; her husband Rufus Ray Wiggins; and her brother Billy Talton Whitley. She is survived by: her son Dr. Joseph Barber (Bonnie Holt Barber) of Princeton; her sister Dorothy Childers of Atkinson; her grandchildren, Caleb Barber and Makenzie Creech; and her stepchildren, Robert, Rufus, Jr., Lorina and Ricky. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
