He was predeceased by : his parents, Hallman Thomas and Cornelia Little Thomas; his former life partner Lillie Watts Thomas; his wife Jane Thomas; and his brother Eugene Thomas.
He is survived by : his children, Aaron Henry Thomas Jr. of Monroe, NC, Joseph Craig Thomas (Cathy) of Pageland, SC and Marie Carriker (Jeremy) of Midland, NC; his stepdaughter Pam Rhodes (Bobby) of Indian Trail, NC; and his siblings, Conway Thomas of Marshville, NC, Larry Thomas of Texas, Martha Russell of Rockwell, NC and Sandra Faulkner of Forest City, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
