He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. James Daniel Stallings and Lena Pearl Isenhour Stallings; and his sister Thelma Stallings Wilkins. He is survived by : his wife Shirley McEachern Stallings; his children, Ronnie Taylor (Sherry) of Mt. Pleasant and Dinah Delevie of Midland; his grandchildren, Angela Starling, Amanda Deese and Reggie Taylor; his brothers, John Stallings, James "Jimmy" Stallings (Ann) and Michael "Mickey" Stallings (Annie); and his nieces and nephews, Diane Stallings Ledford, Jonathan Rozzelle, Kelly Stallings Strouth, Debbie Stallings Gilmore, Paul L. Stallings, Joel L. Stallings, David D. Stallings and Tracey Stallings Helms. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
