He is survived by : his wife Dianna Jean; his son George Virgil Smith, Jr. (Melissa); his granddaughters, Sophie Bean and Mya Smith; and his siblings, Joe Smith (Joy) of Indian Trail, Jesse Smith (June) of Charlotte and Annie Lynn Helms (Jerry) of Pawley's Island, SC. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
