She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Conner and Grace Love Conner; her husband Howard Vernon Brooks; her son Ricky V. Brooks; and her sister Betty Zane Conner.
She is survived by: her sons, Derwin L. Brooks (Kenna) and Duane H. Brooks (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Angie Brooks (Sarah), Sherry Amato (Pat), Anthony Brooks (Megan) and Daniel Brooks (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Paisley, Hudson, Emily, Hayden and Finley.
