With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Brooks of Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles E. Conner and Grace Love Conner; her husband Howard Vernon Brooks; her son Ricky V. Brooks; and her sister Betty Zane Conner.

She is survived by : her sons, Derwin L. Brooks (Kenna) and Duane H. Brooks (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Angie Brooks (Sarah), Sherry Amato (Pat), Anthony Brooks (Megan) and Daniel Brooks (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Paisley, Hudson, Emily, Hayden and Finley.
