She was predeceased by : her parents, George Dewey Dotson and Jessie Ross Dotson; her husband Davis Leon Hutson; her daughter Karen Elizabeth Hutson; and her siblings, James Joseph Dotson and Betty Lou Dotson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jamie Plummer (Darrill) of Midland and Lea Anne Bayless (Rick) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Joseph Smith (Lindsay), Benjamin Bayless (Taylor), Drew Bayless, Sarah Bayless, Melissa Plummer and Matthew Plummer (Cindy); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, Michael, Abram Smith, Charlie and Andie Bayless; and her sister-in-law Donna J. Dotson.
