She was predeceased by: her parents, Bailey Tillman Hartsell and Ethel Page Hartsell; her brothers, Wade Hartsell and Tommy Hartsell; and her husband Sam J. Hopkins.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Ray Hartsell (Sharon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Clear Creek Baptist Church (9015 Ferguson Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
