She was predeceased by : her parents, Kincheon Privett and Betty Ballard Lawing; her husband George Leon Ferguson; and her siblings, Robert Privett and Doris Privett.

She is survived by : her daughter Betty Timmons (Mark) of Midland, NC; her grandson Leland Timmons; and her stepchildren, Jimmy Ferguson (Karen) and Sherrie Ferguson.
