He is survived by: his wife Linda Shepherd Shore; his children, Jodi Shore (Richard Roberts) of Moravian Falls, Andy David Shore (Tara) of Wilkesboro and Zeb Lee Shore of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Brett Shore and Ty Russell; and his sisters, Sue Phillips of Hickory and Judy Winkler (Jerry) of New Port Richey, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
