She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gardener and Kate Hill Gardner. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Brooks (Janet) of Orlando, FL, Nolan Brooks (Meredith) of Concord, NC, Mark Brooks (Kristi) of Charlotte, NC and David Brooks (Penny) of Monroe, NC.; her grandchildren, Leslie Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Heather Brooks, Jesse Brooks, Tyler Brooks and Katey Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Brooks, Vincent Brooks, Dominic Brooks and Aiden Carr. She is also survived by five sisters.
