With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cook Shannon (Mint Hill, North Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill "Pop" Shannon; her parents, Manley Cook and Mary Cook; and her sister Mary Alice Byrd. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Dodd (Terry) of Simpsonville and Jackie Thomas of Huntersville; and her grandchildren, Kendrick Dodd, Patrick Dodd and Megan Warren (Jacob).
