With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Levan Sloan (Mint Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on June 15, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Oren Jefferson "Buck" Sloan, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bobby" Sloan and Sheri Sloan Smoak (Charles); his sister Nancy Ruth Sloan; and his granddaughter Sarah Lindsay Smoak. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Novant Health Hospice.
