He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Alford and Annie Mae Meyers Alford; his wife Evelyn Fields Alford; and his siblings, Edna Broome and Walter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Alford Leckie (Anthony) of Matthews, NC and Tammy Alford Williams (Jim) of Concord, NC; and his granddaughter Jill Williams of Concord, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
