James Mattingly Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mattingly (Mint Hill, North Carolina), born in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edwin Mattingly and Mary Imogene Mattingly (Hinton); and his siblings, Rodney Mattingly, Harry Mattingly and Kathy Mattingly (Onisk).
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Shawn Mattingly (Sara), Jeffrey Mattingly, Emily Morton and Sarah Lantigua (Pedro); his grandchildren, Kiara Carmichael, Kyle Carmichael, Robert Poydock, Gabriel Brown, Zachery Brown, Gideon Mattingly, Daniella Babcock, Caleb Mattingly, Maya Babcock, Noah Baker, Sol Baker, Tiago Lantigua and Vitor Lantigua; his great grandchildren, Landon Carmichael-Hess, Logan Hess and Nash Hess; and his siblings, Ken Mattingly, Gerry Mattingly, Judy Satterlee (Terry), Mary Lu Mattingly (Al Davis), Rita Loomis (Gary) and Annette Konka (Eric). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
