She was predeceased by: her husband Yates Douglas Benton; her parents, Rufus Hartsell and Margaret Hartsell; her siblings, Grace Hartsell, Sue Moore, Clinton, Vance, Clarence and Bobby Hartsell; and her son-in-law Eric Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Patterson, Teresa Warlick, Jeff Warlick, Yates Benton and Brenda Benton; her grandchildren, Rodney Stone, Kristina Butcher, Scott Patterson, Ashley Warlick, Marty Benton and Chad Benton; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Denver, Gavin, Ashlyn, Champ, Amelia, Trevor, Hali and Ava; her great great grandchildren, Sadie and Levi; and her siblings, Rachel Spangler, Ann Plexico, Faye Hartsell, Kay Buchanan and Ricky Hartsell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Harris Hospice Center.
