She was predeceased by: her parents, James Criswell and Nellie Criswell; her husband Cecil Ray Drake, Sr.; her granddaughter Christina Rae Drake; and her siblings, Doris Fouts, Margie Drake and Howard D. Criswell.
She is survived by: her children, Dottie McLaurin (Bobby), Ray Drake (Crystal), Julie Church (Kevin), Freddie Drake (Renee) and Lee Drake; her sister Little Ruth Milam; her sister-in-law Becky Bishop; and her nephew Alan Bishop. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Gateway Baptist Church, 6321 Robinson Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.
