He is survived by: his wife Carol Blackwelder; his children, Chris Blackwelder of Mint Hill, NC, Cissy Poore (John) of Mint Hill, NC and Jessica Goodgame (Tim) of Mint Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Macey Blackwelder, Reece, Raylie Poore, Braeden, Camden Blackwelder, Jacob and Paisley Goodgame; and his siblings, Robert Blackwelder of Mooresville, NC, John Blackwelder of Huntersville, NC and Sharon McNeely of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
