He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Courtney West; and his siblings, David West and Robin West. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ann West; his stepchildren, Tabitha Hinson, Paul Guy, William Guy and Daylon Guy; his grandsons, Ryon Pritchett and Cameron Pritchett; his mother Betty Merrill; and his siblings, Julia Eskew, Beverly Merrill, John Merrill and Danial Scott Merrill.
