He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Mae Carter; his wife Jackie Moore Carter; and his children, Stephen Wayne Carter and Tammy Carter Kasten. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Carter; and his children-in-law, Tim Kasten and Kathy Starnes Carter. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
