He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tarlton and Thelma Upchurch Tarlton. He is survived by: his wife Anna Alexander; and his children, Atlas Tarlton, Jr., Lisa Tarlton and Rebecca Tarlton (Kelley Blouse).
