She was predeceased by: her parents, Carvin Dewitt Cox and Dorthula Ledbetter Cox; and her husband John Boyd Adcock. She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Barnes (Steve) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Donna Adcock of Waxhaw and Robin Metcalf (Richard) of Asheboro, NC; and her grandsons, William Hendrick (Vicki) of Fort Mill, SC and Stewart of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
