She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Simpson and Lola Elliott Simpson; her husband Edward "Ted" Broome; and her son Brandon Huntley. She is survived by: her children, Mike Broome (Delores), Steve Broome (Judy), Tim Broome, Teddy Broome, Sybil Huntley, Pam Jenkins (Mike), Tina Broome and Teresa Williams. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
