He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lee Helms and Millie Starnes Helms; his wife Mary Ann Helms; and his siblings, Jeff Helms, Mildred Helms Hargett, Betty L. Helms and Rachel Ann Helms.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Craig (Jeff); his grandchildren, Daniel Craig (Daisy Hardy) and Hannah Craig; and his friends, Bill, Shirley Love, Gene and Janet Kiker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
