He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Edward Baucom and Julia Little Baucom; his siblings, Mae Parker, Francis Thomas, James Michael Baucom and Johnny Ray Baucom; and his brothers-in-law, Sam Helms, James "Pete" Manus and Donald Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Griffin Baucom; his children, Wanda Baucom Byrum (Mike) and Darrell Leonard Baucom (Alisa); his sisters, Peggy Russell (Robert), Doris Knight (Barry), Vickie Helms and Coralee Manus; his grandsons, Brian Hinson (Abby), Jake Helms (Hailey), Clayton Baucom and Mason Baucom; and his great grandchildren, Michael Hinson, Cason Helms and Sawyer Helms. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
