Dock Winfred Pierce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dock Winfred Pierce (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pierce and Verla Pierce; his wife Mary Frances Pierce; and his siblings, Lib Edwards, James Pierce, Margie Pierce, Mildred Jones, David Pierce, Robert Pierce, Dorothy Adams (Dot), Fannie Price and Vance Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lesa Pierce-Cameron (Mike) of Stokesdale, NC and Lynn Pierce of Monroe; his granddaughters, Lizzy and Lydia Pierce; and his siblings, Daniel Pierce, Frances Thomas and Wanda Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid 19 virus, an open visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Funeral Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Dock's honor to Samaritan's Purse/Donor Ministries, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
